The 4th Trimester Course
PRACTICAL, INTENTIONAL PARENTING
The 4th Trimester Course is a practical, honest guide for parents preparing for life after birth — the part most antenatal classes skip. Instead of focusing on the birth, we begin where this part of the journey starts: at home, with a newborn, a healing body, and a relationship that's navigating big changes. This course walks you through every stage of early parenthood, offering a clear, reassuring map that includes physical recovery timelines, realistic baby care expectations, communication tools, and partner guidance that reflects modern parenting values. You’ll learn how to evaluate advice (without getting overwhelmed), create a support system that actually works, and build a team-based approach to parenting that supports your relationship as much as your baby. This isn’t about doing things perfectly — it’s about preparing to show up with intention, empathy, and shared responsibility. Whether you’re weeks away from meeting your baby or already in the thick of it, this course meets you where you are and helps you move forward together.
Facilitators
Our Team: two moms with very different experiences on our own pathways to parenthood, but the same instinct to say, “hang on… that system isn’t working — let’s fix it.” We’ve teamed up to create the kind of postpartum support we wish everyone had: grounded, practical, thoughtful, and built on teamwork. Our skills are complementary — Anice brings deep experience in postpartum care and hands-on support, while Sarah brings clarity, emotional steadiness, and a gift for helping people reflect and communicate. Together, we’re here to help you feel more prepared, connected, and confident in this huge transition into parenthood.
Anice Lombard - Postpartum Doula · Founder of Massage Mama
I’ve spent years walking alongside new parents through the messy, tender, and transformative experience of early parenthood. As a certified postpartum doula and perinatal massage therapist, I offer a mix of hands-on care and steady emotional support. My approach is practical, honest, and deeply human — focused on helping families feel more grounded, more connected, and more confident as they navigate those intense early weeks together. |
Sarah Ping Nie Jones - Facilitator · Somatic Practitioner · The Kopanya Institute
I’ve spent years designing and facilitating courses that help people move through change with clarity. My background is in emotional support, conflict resolution, and body-based work — but what I really bring is a steady presence and an ability to guide conversations that matter. In the early weeks of parenthood, things can feiel messy and overwhelming. I’m here to offer gentle structure, meaningful prompts, and just enough support to help you feel calm, capable, and connected. |
